Signage questions, answered.
How much does signage cost in Melbourne?
+
Signage cost depends on size, materials, illumination and installation complexity. A simple cut-vinyl shopfront can start under $500; a full illuminated fabricated-letter facade can reach $15,000+. Every project gets a fixed-price quote after a free on-site measure.
How long does a signage project take?
+
Standard shopfronts: 48h to site measure, 3 days for concept, 5–10 days to fabricate, then a same-day install. Larger projects (pylons, LED, engineered facade signs) run 4–8 weeks including council approval.
Do you handle council permits?
+
Yes. We prepare planning drawings, elevations and lodgement paperwork for every metropolitan Melbourne council. Typical approval takes 4–8 weeks.
Do I need a permit for a small shopfront sign?
+
It depends on the council and the size of the sign. Sub-2m² identification signs are often exempt but there are always exceptions. We'll advise as part of the quote.
Are your installers licensed?
+
Yes — licensed electricians for illuminated work, EWP-ticketed for high installs, and covered by $20M public liability. Certificates are provided on request.
Do you provide a warranty?
+
Every sign carries a 10-year written workmanship warranty. LED components carry 3–5 year manufacturer warranties which we administer on your behalf.
Can you install after hours?
+
Yes — we regularly install in CBD tenancies, shopping centres and hospitality precincts overnight to avoid trading disruption. Overnight surcharge applies.
What Melbourne suburbs do you cover?
+
The full metropolitan area — approximately a 60km radius of the CBD. That includes the west (Werribee, Point Cook, Melton), north (Preston, Coburg), east (Box Hill, Glen Waverley) and south-east (Dandenong, Frankston).
Can I supply my own artwork?
+
Yes. We accept vector artwork (AI, EPS, PDF) or high-resolution logo files. Our in-house design team can also work from your brand guide or create artwork from scratch.
What materials do you use?
+
Depending on the sign: aluminium composite panel (ACM), aluminium, stainless steel, acrylic, timber, 3M and Avery cast vinyls, marine-grade paint systems, and IP-rated LEDs.
Do you do vehicle wraps and vehicle signage?
+
Yes. Everything from door-and-tailgate cut vinyl through to full colour-change wraps on cars, vans, trucks and fleets — installed in our climate-controlled bay.
What payment terms do you offer?
+
Standard terms are 30% deposit on order confirmation, 70% on installation. Business accounts and progress payment schedules are available for larger projects.
